Parenting Program Facilitator
Project Title: ParentCorps Parenting Program
Project Dates: February 2023 – June 2023
Organization Description: ParentCorps is an evidence-based program that partners with pre-Kindergarten programs to support culturally responsive family engagement and social-emotional learning -- with long-term positive impacts on children’s long-term mental health, physical health, and academic achievement, as shown in multiple randomized controlled trials. As part of NYU Langone’s Center for Early Childhood Health and Development, ParentCorps is implementing services to strengthen family engagement and support parents and teachers throughout NYC. Services include Professional Learning for educators and leaders, and training and coaching of educators and mental health professionals to support the implementation of ParentCorps programs in 20+ sites.
Consultant Scope of Work: The consultant will facilitate one Parenting Program during the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking to fill 2 virtual programs in Mandarin, 2 in-person programs in Spanish and 1 in-person program in Mandarin. In-person programming will take place in the community of Sunset Park.
As part of this scope of work, the consultant will:

Provide virtual/in-person facilitation for at least one Parenting Program

Attend a 5-day (nonconsecutive) training series

Participate in weekly coaching calls with Parenting Program Coach

Support in the collection of program data

Submit a weekly Facilitator Feedback Form
Payment depends on the number and types of programs facilitated. The consultant flat rates are as follows:

$2700 for 1 virtual program

$3000 for 1 in-person program
-
$4200 for 2 virtual programs
-
$4500 for 1 virtual and 1 in-person programs

$5000 for 2 in-person programs
Consultant Qualifications:
-
Fluent in Mandarin and/or Spanish
-
Mental Health background preferred

Experience with facilitating groups
